Qualify for Medi-Cal Benefits

If you or a loved one is in need of Long-Term Care, and you’re wondering how to pay for it, the GOOD NEWS is that almost everyone can qualify for Medi-Cal benefits, even people who are already in nursing homes. But don’t expect the Government or the Nursing Home facility to show you how. That’s where we can help. Elder Law Services of California has been helping Californians qualify for Medi-Cal Benefits for over 12 years.

While it is not difficult to qualify for Medi-Cal, the rules of Medi-Cal are very complex and the process can be overwhelming and stressful -especially when you are already dealing with the illness of a loved one.

Our job is to simplify the process and make sure that it goes as smoothly as possible- so that you can focus your time and energy on the people you care about.

First, we will determine whether you meet the Medi-Cal eligibility requirements (which are based on the amount of income and resources available to the applicant). Then, we work on transferring, purchasing, liquidating and/or converting your assets as needed to enable you or your loved one to qualify under Medi-Cal’s 2-prong test of income and resources.

This process is perfectly legal and almost anyone can qualify under Medi-Cal’s eligibility tests. It all depends on your own personal set of circumstances and objectives. The sooner you contact us, the sooner we can start the process and get you the financial help you need. So call Elder Law Services of California today for a consultation at 1-800 403-6078! We have offices throughout California to serve your needs.

Medicare, private insurance policies as well as HMO’s do not cover Long-Term Nursing Home Care.  Too often middle class families “spend down” all of the family’s assets to pay for Nursing Home Care. There are no limits to the length of stay or type of care you or your loved one can receive from Medi-Cal. Yes it is possible to get the Nursing Home Care that you need paid for by Medi-Cal! Medi-cal Rules are complex and constantly changing. Elder Law Services of California can show you how adding Medi-Cal to your Medicare Package will cover the ongoing Long-Term Nursing Home Care of your loved one!  Over 80% of the Nursing Homes in California are Medi-Cal approved.  Without the guidance of qualified legal counsel, transfers and gifts of any kind can result in penalties and loss of Medi-Cal Benefits.

Attorney Judd Matsunaga of Elder Law Services of California  has years of experience helping middle-class families preserve the family’s assets and home while quickly qualifying for Medi-Cal coverage for nursing home care.
