Ms. Lathrom was raised in the South Bay where she has also raised her family. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of California, Irvine in Social Ecology. She received her J.D. from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles and is licensed to practice law in California.
Prior to joining Matsunaga and Associates, Ms. Lathrom’s primary area of practice was in personal injury and civil litigation where she was a sole practiotiner for almost 15 years. For Matsunaga and Associates, she is responsible for the Estate Planning and Trust Administration Department. She particularly enjoys working with our clientele in addressing their estate planning needs. It is a welcome transition from the adversarial litigation environment.
In addition, Ms. Lathrom is a member of the Trust and Estates Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and is actively involved in children’s charities, local schools, and volunteers for the Advocates for Conserved Elders (ACE) program. Ms. Lathrom is also a real estate agent where she continues to actively service her clients.
